ACTION AND MECHANISM

- Antithrombotic. Heparinoids such as chondroitin sulfate increase the activity of antithrombin III, giving rise to an anticoagulant effect. This anticoagulant effect is not evident after its topical administration, but they favor the reabsorption of local hematomas.

INDICATIONS

- [VARICES]. Treatment of symptoms of varicose veins in adults, such as heaviness or tightness in the legs.
- [HEMATOMA]. Elimination of superficial bruises caused by blows in adults and children from 1 year.

POSOLOGY

- Adults, topical: apply a thin layer, 2-3 times a day.
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age, topical: no dosage adjustment is required.
The safety and efficacy for the treatment of varicose veins in <18 years and hematomas in <1 year have not been evaluated.
- Elderly, topical: no dosage adjustment is required.
Duration of treatment: treatment of varicose veins will last for 1-2 weeks, but if after 5 days of treatment there is no improvement in symptoms, or they worsen, the patient's clinical condition should be evaluated.
Hematoma treatment is usually less than 10 days.
Missed dose: skip the dose and continue the usual treatment. Do not double the next dose.

RULES FOR THE CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

Apply to the skin with a light massage to promote its penetration.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucosa, as well as on wounded, inflamed, irritated or infected skin. After each application, wash your hands with water.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- Hypersensitivity to heparinoids or any other component of the drug.
