Dulcosoft Oral Solution Powder 20 Sachets (Macrogol 4000)

ACTION AND DESCRIPTION
Medical device indicated for the symptomatic treatment of constipation and softening of hard faeces.

COMPOSITION
Per sachet: 10g macrogol 4000 (without excipients).

MODE OF USE
Adults and children over 8 years old: 1 or 2 sachets a day dissolved in liquid, preferably in the morning.

Always take Dulcosoft Powder Oral Solution exactly as indicated in the leaflet.

It has a neutral taste and can be dissolved in water or the liquid of your choice.

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of liquid (about 150 ml) immediately before administration.

Use in adults and children over 8 years of age: Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, the usual dosage is: 1 - 2 sachets per day dissolved in liquid (equivalent to 10-20 g of macrogol 4000), preferably taken in a single dose in the morning.
Children under 8 years of age should not take this product as there are other products better adapted to their age.

Within the recommended dosage, it can be adjusted to your particular needs and can range from one sachet every two days to two sachets a day. The right dose is the lowest dose that can produce soft, regular stools.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Do not use on children under 8 years of age.

Consult your doctor in case of persistent abdominal pain.

In cases of diarrhoea, the electrolyte level should be monitored.

Allergic reactions have been observed in patients taking products containing macrogol.

Do not take the medication if:

- You are hypersensitive to any of its components.

- You have a severe intestinal disease or toxic megacolon.

- You have a digestive perforation or risk of perforation.

- Ileus or suspected intestinal obstruction or symptomatic stenosis.

ADVERSE REACTIONS
Adults:

Diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, fecal incontinence and flatulence.

Anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic reaction, angioderma, hives, rash and hypersensitivity are rare.

Children:

Diarrhoea, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting and flatulence.

Anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic reaction, angioderma, hives, rash and hypersensitivity are rare.

PRESERVATION AND SHELF LIFE
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25º C.
