How to use DAOfood ^® Plus?

Take 1 capsule with a little water 20 minutes before meals. DAOfood ^® Plus capsules have a gastro-resistant coating that allows the enzyme Diaminooxidase not to be released in the stomach, but in a delayed way in the small intestine, which is where it degrades the histamine ingested by the diet. Therefore, the capsules should be swallowed whole, without chewing or splitting or breaking before eating.

How does DAOfood ^® Plus work?

Histamine is a vital molecule that is present in all foods of the daily diet and is the mediator of many biological processes such as inflammation, gastric acid secretion, neuromodulation and the regulation of immune function.

Under normal conditions, ingested histamine is degraded by the enzyme Diamino Oxidase (DAO) in the small intestine.
